While the duo completely rewrote the MC rule book, they themselves were increasingly pegged as a one-dimensional novelty the longer their career progressed, despite watching elements of their style creep into countless rappers' bags of tricks. Krazy Drazyz (born Andre Weston; Teaneck, NJ) and Skoob (born Willie Hines) were both raised in Brooklyn, but didn't begin performing together until they met at Virginia State University in 1988. Removed from an active music scene, the two were free to develop their most idiosyncratic tendencies; they started making up gibberish words (anything ending in "-iggity" was a favorite) that added loads of extra syllables to their lines, and wove plenty of pop-cultural references into the tongue-twisting lyrical gymnastics that resulted. Das EFX caught their big break when they performed at a talent show judged by EPMD; though they didn't win, EPMD was impressed enough to offer them a deal, and the duo became part of the Def Squad crew of protégés. Signing to the East West label, Das EFX began work on their debut album, commuting between Virginia and New York and mailing tapes to EPMD (then touring the country) for guidance. Upon its release in 1992, Dead Serious caused an immediate sensation, and is still considered something of a landmark in hip-hop circles. INTERNATIONAL/ USA – March 15, 2009 – Not many people know that HIP HOP has its own HISTORY MONTH, in November. And…HIP HOP HISTORY MONTH has been established as November, for some years. On NOVEMBER 12, 1974, the name “Hip Hop” was born. Thus, November 12, every year, is the actual anniversary of hip hop.

Why does the public not know this? And for those who do, why have we not highlighted and celebrated this more? Why haven’t hip hop artists pushed or promoted this month and day more, to commemorate their passion, industry, and stance as hip hop artists?

Well, this has changed and is continuing to change? More industry Execs and Artists are jumping on the band wagon to highlight this achievement in hip hop culture. This is fast-becoming a movement of sorts.

The Merriam Webster Dictionary describes a Trilogy: as a series of three dramas or literary or musical compositions that are closely related and develop one theme. We feel that this is the only way to describe these three multi talented individuals who have transcended lifes obstacles to unite and create a level of musical genius that the world has been longing for.

When you experience life’s hardships, disappointments and struggles, you have a tendency to depend on elements you believe are truly important as an individual. Three elements which have been key in the lives of these three extraordinary individuals are Love, Life and Loyalty.

Rita Tyler, an R & B phenom and talented songwriter, will have you travel back in time and experience music in the manner it was meant to be appreciated. For a wide door for effective work has opened to me and there are many adversaries., 1 Corinthians 16:9...on a mission to stop us from walking through that door of opportunity. The devil doesn't want to see us succeed...cross the threshold into our hopes and dreams...the opposition has set up smoke screens...to block us from reaching our destinies. Because he is unable to lock the door or throw away the keys...for those who have faith and believe...in the unseen. Yes, there are sliding doors...divine portals that lead straight towards...supernaturally opened doors (divine connections) where Jesus stands and knocks...If you ask He will graciously unlock...the way, the truth and the life...help you find the door jam through the darkest of nights. Christ is the light that, beams so bright...you could feel your way to the light...glimpse the flashing arrows that lead to the site...and don't be preoccupied with what the door looks like. Cause when Scotty's...ready to beam you up...ain't nobody...including the devil in hell...gonna stop you from accessing that party.
